The World Map Podcast Network (#TWMPN) was founded in 2015 as a single podcast about everything on the map in this world of nerdery, including books, shows, movies and more — but mostly video games. Whether you love old-school Atari and Nintendo games, the latest Playstation exclusive, awesome science fiction novels, everything to do with Star Wars films or that latest Netflix original series, we’ve got you covered. The show’s pilot run included weekly live YouTube video episodes with an all-star cast followed by fully edited audio shows on iTunes, Stitcher Radio, Google Play and all your favorite podcast apps.
Now, semi-regular, more bite-sized listens go up in fully produced podcast format regularly. It’s the goal of TWMPN to provide insight into a diverse range of media from multiple perspectives, including industry analysis, reviews and more. We’re committed to expanding our network to include more podcasts, written content and video shows for our audience. As of 2017, TWMPN is expanding to allow for more individual shows, articles and hosts.

Creator and Host
Josh DeLung is a digital strategist for an international consulting firm by day. In his spare time, he runs TWMPN, plays tons of video games, reads awesome books, writes content, podcasts, paints, plays music and more. He’s been a passionate podcast fan for over a decade and started TWMPN out of a desire to produce awesome content for others and combine his lifelong love of gaming and other nerdery other geeks who are passionate about their hobbies. You can learn more about Josh and what he does on the regular at his website, JoshuaDeLung.com.
Josh’s favorite game genres include anything indie, role-playing, real-time strategy, Metroidvania, adventure, the occasional first-person shooter, football and recently, MOBAs. He’ll fight you if you think there’s a better The Legend of Zelda game than A Link to the Past, and — trigger warning — he’s still pretty forlorn about Aerith’s death. He’s more of a Star Wars fan than a Trekkie, but fully admits The Next Generation is one of the greatest TV shows of all time (oh, and BSG). If he were a Marvel superhero, he’d probably be Captain America even though he has a cliché obsession with Wolverine.
